IPLAN and AEAPG hold training on the construction of sidewalks
Event open to the public will bring together engineers, architects and construction professionals for technical training on the rules applicable in concrete cases.

Professionals in the construction area, including architects, engineers, contractors and other agents in the sector, will have access to technical training on the construction and reform of pavements, considering the rules already published by Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa in its Pavements Manual. The event will be on Wednesday (16), at 7.30 pm, at the headquarters of the Association of Engineers and Architects of Ponta Grossa (AEAPG), partner in training, with mediation of the Institute of Research and Urban Planning of Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa (IPLAN).
"We believe that with the participation of everyone, the city of Ponta Grossa is taking an important step towards urban development, with more safety and accessibility," says IPLAN President, Rafael Mansani.
The main objective of the event, entitled "Technical Update - Engineering and Architecture", is to align the technical knowledge of professionals to the new national and municipal technical requirements. During the meeting, in addition to the practical application of the rules, with several real case studies, will also be presented novelties prepared by the City Hall for the GeoWeb Portal, which brings new functionalities and tools, with a focus on protocols and services that facilitate the day-to-day of engineering, architecture and real estate professionals.
Although it is aimed at engineers, architects and construction professionals, the event is open to the public – an opportunity also for students in the area interested in understanding how the new regulations can be applied in the practice of construction in the city.
