Managers, political leaders and public servants of the Campos Gerais participated, on Wednesday (4), in Ponta Grossa, another stage of the Regional Circuit of the Association of Municipalities of the Paraná (AMP). The meeting, held in partnership with the Association of Municipalities of Campos Gerais (AMCG), aimed to strengthen municipal public management through professional training, exchange of experiences and debate on strategies to improve services offered to the population.
The initiative is part of a state programming developed by AMP, with the support of the 19 regional associations of municipalities of Paraná. The circuit seeks to prepare municipal administrations to face challenges, improve public policies and expand the efficiency of services provided to the community.
Governance and leadership are highlights of the meeting
The programming was structured in four main axes: Collaborative Governance, Leadership that Transforms, Communication in Public Management and Public-Private Partnerships and Institutional Cooperation.
The debates addressed the importance of strategic planning, integration between teams and the development of leadership capable of promoting improvements in the municipal administration.
The mayor of Jaguariaíva and president of the SAMU Intermunicipal Consortium Campos Gerais (CimSamu), Juca Sloboda, stressed that the qualification of professionals is fundamental to overcome the challenges faced by the municipalities.
"It is a very important initiative, which provides training, approach and exchange of knowledge between public servants of the municipalities. This is critical to overcoming the challenges and obstacles of public service. In order to develop and execute projects, we need to count on qualified, integrated and prepared teams to deal with the difficulties of the day-to-day municipal administration," he stressed.
Employee training strengthens municipalities
Another point highlighted during the meeting was the need to continuously invest in the training of public servants, especially those who remain in the administrations regardless of changes in government.
The consultant of the National Confederation of Municipalities (CNM), Juarez Henrichs, explained that the public administration is undergoing constant transformations, requiring updating and preparation of the technical teams.
Among the challenges mentioned are the changes arising from the reforma tributária and the new demands related to municipal governance.
Henrichs also highlighted the mobilization of regional leaders to hold the meeting, The President of the AMP, Marcel Micheletto; the President of the AMCG, Gerson Nunes; the Mayor of Ponta Grossa, Elizabeth Schmidt; the prefeito Juca Sloboda; and deputy mayor of Ponta Grossa, Pastor Moisés Faria.
Communication and innovation in public administration
The consultant and speaker Ângelo Roncalli stressed that an efficient management depends not only on planning, but also on professionals committed to common objectives and a clear communication with society.
"Today we address important guidelines, such as collaborative governance and the importance of integrating the entire team into strategic alignment, in addition to the role of leadership in the engagement of professionals. We also discussed communication in public management, not only to dialogue with the population, but to present the results of public policies in a clear and understandable way. Another theme was innovation, including the possibilities of public-private partnerships and institutional cooperation,” he explained.
According to Roncalli, the strengthening of municipal teams and the integration between different sectors of administration contribute directly to the development of cities.
Regional integration seeks to improve services to the population
The realization of the AMP Regional Circuit in Ponta Grossa also reinforces the importance of cooperation between the municipalities of Campos Gerais.
The exchange of experiences allows managers to know solutions adopted in other cities, share difficulties and identify opportunities for joint action.
With the participation of representatives of different municipal administrations, the meeting highlighted the need for an increasingly prepared, transparent and efficient public management, with a focus on improving the quality of life of the population.
