Police Penal opens inquiry to investigate facts at a prison unit in Ponta Grossa

The Directorate-General of the Criminal Police of Paraná has ordered the opening of a syndication involving facts related to Penitenciária Estadual de Ponta Grossa – Progressive Unit.
The measure is contained in Ordinance No. 351/2026, published in the Official State Gazette on October 30, 2026.
According to the document, a commission was formed by the criminal policemen Antônio Marcos Marins de Brito and Sebastião Cesar de Araujo, both crowded in the prison unit.
The presidency of the works will be under the responsibility of the first server.
The commission will have a period of 15 working days to complete the investigation of the facts mentioned in the protocol no. 26.461.087-7, in addition to any related situations identified during the work.
The ordinance also determines that the disciplinary procedure is carried out in digital format and provides for the possibility of using web conferences to record testimonials.
