Saturday will be rainy and unstable in Ponta Grossa and region
Forecast of rain in Ponta Grossa points to unstable weather, risk of thunderstorms and accumulations close to 100 mm in the Campos Gerais

The rain forecast indicates a Saturday (19) unstable weather in the Campos Gerais, according to information from Simepar. The operation of a low pressure system between neighboring countries and the South of Brazil should provoke changes in weather conditions throughout the Paraná, with the possibility of heavy rain, intense winds and storms in some regions.
According to Simepar, the Northwest, West, Southwest and South-Central areas of Paraná are expected to experience rain as early as dawn. Over the course of Saturday, instability advances to other regions of the state, with the possibility of storms accompanied by atmospheric discharges, strong wind gusts and hailfall.
In the Campos Gerais, the forecast indicates milder temperatures and the occurrence of rainfall. In Ponta Grossa, the thermometers should vary between 14°C and 19°C, with the possibility of rain during the day. The condition is also expected to affect nearby cities such as Carambeí and Castro, which have similar forecasts.
According to Simepar, the Campos Gerais range may record high cumulative rainfall between Saturday and Sunday, with volumes that may approach 100 millimeters in some areas of the South of the Paraná and region.
In addition to Ponta Grossa, the forecast for the municipalities of the region points to:
Carambeí: minimum 14°C and maximum 19°C;
Castro: minimum 14°C and maximum 19°C;

Sengés: minimum of 14°C and maximum of 23°C;

For Sunday (20), Simepar forecasts that instability is still expected to cause strong storms during the early morning hours in central and northern areas of Paraná. During the afternoon, the system begins to move eastwards, gradually reducing the rainy conditions in some regions.
Temperatures are expected to rise throughout the state, especially in the West, Northwest and Southwest, where thermometers can exceed 30°C. In the Campos Gerais, the weather should continue with lower temperatures and the presence of cloudiness.
