Woman Suffers Exposed Fracture After Being Run Over by Truck in Ponta Grossa
A 40-year-old woman suffered an exposed fracture after being run over by a truck in Ponta Grossa on Tuesday (13th).
A woman in her 40s was injured after being hit by a truck in Ponta Grossa. The incident mobilized relief teams on Tuesday (13).
According to preliminary information from the care, the victim had an exposed fracture in one of the legs, in addition to active bleeding in the site.
Despite the injuries, the woman was conscious and breathing during the first cares performed by the emergency teams.
Rescuers worked to contain the bleeding and stabilize the victim. After the on-site procedures, she would be referred to Hospital Universitário Regional dos Campos Gerais, in Ponta Grossa, for medical attention.
To date, no information has been released about the circumstances of the hit or the identity of the victim.
