A car-train accident in Ponta Grossa mobilized emergency teams on Thursday night, in the region between Vila Margarida and Vila Liane. A man was trapped inside a Ford Ka after the collision, and Firefighters and Samu teams were working on the victim's release.
According to preliminary information obtained on the spot, the car was hit by the train and dragged for a considerable distance after impact. Initial reports indicate that the Ford Ka was driven by approximately one court, but the exact distance had not yet been officially confirmed.
Driver was trapped in the vehicle
The driver, a man whose identity had not been disclosed, remained trapped in the hardware after the accident. Firefighters carried out the work of release to remove the victim safely.
