Man who ordered murder ends up dead for not paying debt in Ponta Grossa
According to the Public Prosecutor's Office, Jackson suffered at least 17 knife wounds in a retaliatory attack. Defense disputes the evidence and the motive attributed to the crime.

An alleged debt for the commission of a murder is at the center of the indictment on the death of Jackson Luis Ferreira de Quadros in Ponta Grossa. According to the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Paraná, he was killed in retaliation because a cousin did not pay the amount agreed with Daiana dos Santos Lourenço to kill another person. The accused will be tried on Thursday (15), at 8:30, by the Jury Court.
The crime took place on the night of May 25, 2025, in Theófilo Cunha Street, Vila Coronel Cláudio. According to the complaint reproduced in the court report, Jackson suffered at least 17 injuries caused by knife strokes and died as a result of acute bleeding.
Daiana is responsible for qualified murder and corruption of an enlarged teenager. The session will be held in the Auditorium of the Jury Court, in the Forum of State Justice, in Oficinas, under the presidency of Judge Luiz Carlos Fortes Bittencourt.
Accusation points to retaliation for non-payment
According to the version presented by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, a cousin of Jackson would have commissioned Daiana to kill another man. As the combined payment would not have been made, the defendant would have decided to kill Jackson in retaliation. The report does not disclose the value of this alleged hiring nor does it clarify whether the murder that would have been ordered occurred.
According to the complaint, Daiana acted together with a 17-year-old teenager, by prior agreement. The prosecution claims that the two surprised Jackson in public and that the victim did not even know the reason for the attack. These circumstances support the three qualifiers attributed to the murder: awkward motive, cruel means and recourse that made it difficult to defend the victim.
Jury dismisses femicide and convicts man of privileged murder in Ponta Grossa
The alleged participation of the teenager also led to the accusation of corruption of an enlarged teenager.
Defense questions evidence and motivation
Daiana’s defense requested that she not be submitted to the Jury Court, arguing that the elements presented were insufficient to substantiate the prosecution. Subsidiarily, it requested the removal of the clumsy motive qualifier, claiming that the motive of the crime had not been duly demonstrated.
The court has decided to refer the defendant to trial, keeping the three qualifiers and the charge related to the participation of the teenager. The defense appealed against that decision, but, according to the court report, he was denied. The document also records that Daiana chose to remain silent during the instruction hearing. The decision to refer her to the jury does not represent a conviction.
Guards found knives, clothes and cell phones broken
The end of the custody hearing adds information about the steps taken after the crime. According to the document, the Municipal Guard received information that a man struck by a knife was in the UPA Santana. The officers followed to a residence where one of the allegedly involved was. In the back of the property, they found a young man with blood stains on his shirt.
Upon entering the house, they located Daiana and another person, in addition to knives that could have been used in the crime, clothes described as compatible with images mentioned in the cars and broken cell phones. Three people were taken to the police station, according to the record. The term does not present an expert conclusion that confirms the use of the knives found in the attack.
Preventive Prison has been maintained
On May 27, 2025, the Justice approved Daiana’s arrest in flagrante and made it preventive. In the decision, the judge mentioned the violence attributed to the crime and the risk of criminal recurrence. The document recorded that it was technically primary, although it responded to other drug trafficking lawsuits. The existence of such actions does not amount to condemnation.
In the same hearing, the court dismissed the substitution of preventive detention for domiciliary detention, basing the decision on the violent nature of the crime attributed to the accused. Pre-trial detention was again maintained on 13 August 2026. At the time, the court said there was no alteration of the facts that justified the revocation and recorded that the trial was scheduled for October 15.
Trial will have witnesses of the prosecution and defense
The session was marked by a decision of July 16, 2026. The judge authorized the hearing of witnesses appointed by the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the defense, in addition to the use of projections and the presentation of seized objects and materials to demonstrate the dynamics and the location of the facts.
