Enrollment for 2027 starts on Monday in Ponta Grossa
Enrollment for 2027 in Ponta Grossa starts on November 9. Check deadlines, who should register, and how to secure a spot in the municipal network.
The Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa begins on Monday (9) the enrolment process for the 2027 school year in the Municipal Education Network. The procedure will initially be carried out online and includes students from Educação Infantil, including kindergarten, day care and preschool, as well as students from elementary school, from 1st to 5th year.
Parents or guardians should access the Student Area platform or the Municipal Secretariat of Education page. The links will be available on the official website of the City Hall, at www.pontagrossa.pr.gov.br, from Monday.
The first stage begins on the 9th.
Between 9 and 12 November, the registration will be aimed at families who wish to keep their children in the same municipal school or Municipal Center of Educação Infantil (CMEI).
Students responsible for students who need to change units because the current institution does not offer the class corresponding to the next school year should also participate in this phase.
According to the coordinator of the registration sector of the Municipal Secretariat of Education, Carla da Silva, even in cases where the family does not want the unit indicated by the system, it is important to confirm the option presented.
The suggested units will be those closest to the student's residence, according to the criteria established by the legislation. Subsequently, it will be possible to request the transfer to another institution through the system itself.
New students will be able to register from the 13th.
The second stage of registration will be held between 13 and 22 November. In this period, the system will be available to children who will join the Municipal Education Network for the first time and to students whose families wish to request a voluntary transfer.
In order to register, those responsible must provide updated data, including email address and telephone number valid for contact.
The municipal secretary of Education, Joana D'Arc Panzarini Egg, advises that families do not leave the procedure for the last minute.
“The online process is fast and secure, but requires the attention of those responsible. It is essential not to leave for the last moment, to read all the guidelines and to fill out the information correctly, thus ensuring that the child has more chances to study in the desired unit.
The City Council offers assistance to those who have difficulties
Families who find it difficult to enroll online may seek guidance from any municipal school unit.
It will also be possible to seek assistance directly at the Municipal Secretariat of Education, located at Rua Valério Ronchi, 55, in Uvaranas, or by phone (42) 3220-1010, branch 3005.
After the closure of the online stages, those responsible will be summoned to the school units to enroll in person. At this stage, it will be mandatory to present the documents that prove the information provided in the registration.
