Founder of a network present in 23 states participates in free event in Ponta Grossa
Retail Focus in Ponta Grossa will feature a lecture by the founder of Mais1 Café and startup presentations. The free event takes place on the 12th.

Entrepreneurs from Ponta Grossa and Campos Gerais will have the opportunity to learn about business growth strategies and innovative solutions during the Retail in Focus, which takes place on November 12 at 7 pm at the Hotel Bourbon. The free event, organized by Sebrae/PR in partnership with Fecomércio PR, will feature the participation of Vinicius Delatorre, co-founder of Mais1 Café, a network of franchises operating in 23 Brazilian states.
The programming was developed to bring traders and entrepreneurs closer to real market experiences, in addition to presenting technological tools capable of contributing to the modernization and competitiveness of business.
Registration is open until November 10 and can be made free of charge via the internet.
From the creation of a brand to national expansion
One of the main moments of the meeting will be the lecture of Vinicius Delatorre, responsible for the operations area of Mais1 Café. The entrepreneur will present the behind-the-scenes of the development of the brand, addressing the decisions that contributed to transform the enterprise into a network of national reach.
During the presentation, Delatorre will also talk about the challenges faced throughout the expansion, including the need to reorganize processes, improve management and ensure the profitability of the units.
According to the entrepreneur, the success of a franchise is not exclusively related to the number of establishments, but also to the ability to maintain efficient and financially sustainable operations.
The executive intends to share experiences related to the choice of commercial points, the management of franchisees and the importance of strategic planning for companies that want to grow.
Startups will present solutions for commerce
In addition to the lecture, the Retail in Focus at Ponta Grossa will open space for the presentation of three startups, two of which are from the city and one from Curitiba.
The companies will demonstrate solutions developed to facilitate the routine of merchants, with resources aimed at business management, inventory control, artificial intelligence and the offer of digital services.
According to Sebrae/PR consultant Thaise Amaral, the proposal is to allow participants to know technologies that can be incorporated into their businesses, improving processes and expanding the ability to compete in the market.
The meeting also aims to stimulate the exchange of experiences between entrepreneurs and present practical alternatives to meet the challenges of the retail sector.
Planning for 2027 will also be under discussion
Another theme foreseen in the programming will be the economic scenario and its possible impacts on companies next year.
The Business Development Coordinator of Fecomércio PR, Rodrigo Schmidt, highlights that access to information on market behavior and the national economic situation can help entrepreneurs in the elaboration of strategies for 2027.
The initiative is part of a state program carried out by Sebrae/PR and Fecomércio PR in the seven regional institutions, with activities adapted to the economic and commercial characteristics of each region.
At Campos Gerais, the meeting seeks to strengthen the business environment, encourage innovation and offer knowledge to entrepreneurs who want to improve their results.
