GCM arrests two people after spotting drug trafficking suspicion in Environmental Park
Drug trafficking in Environmental Park was caught on GCM cameras in Ponta Grossa. A man and a woman were taken to the police station.
An occurrence of drug trafficking in Parque Ambiental mobilized the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) of Ponta Grossa on the night of Friday (9). Security cameras have caught a man in suspicious attitude near a cafeteria, taking teams to the scene.
According to information of the occurrence, around 18:47, the equipe GAT India was triggered by the Integrated Center of Public Security Operations (CIOPS) to verify a complaint related to the commercialization of narcotics in the central region of the city.
According to GCM, the monitoring cameras reportedly recorded a man conducting a possible drug sale in the vicinity of a cafeteria located at Parque Ambiental. The characteristics of the suspect were passed on to the teams that were on patrol.
Team found substance similar to crack
With the information received, the agents located a group of people at the point indicated by the cameras and carried out the approach.
During the personal search for a man who matched the reported characteristics, the guards found in his cap a stone of substance analogous to crack. According to the occurrence report, the material was subsequently taken to the police station for weighing, but did not present weight in the scale used.
R$ 8 in cash were also found with the approached.
During the incident, another team of the Municipal Civil Guard provided support in approaching a woman who was on the scene. With it, according to the official report, R $ 78 were found in notes of different values.
According to GCM, when asked about the origin of the money, the woman would not have informed the origin of the values.
Two people were taken to the police station.
Faced with the situation recorded on Parque Ambiental, the man and woman received a voice of arrest. According to the Municipal Guard, the constitutional rights of those involved were informed during the procedure.
The two were subsequently referred to the 4th Regional of Flagrantes of Ponta Grossa, where the case was made available to the police authority for analysis and adoption of the appropriate measures.
