GCM seizes 6 kg of marijuana and arrests two people in Ponta Grossa
Marijuana seized in Ponta Grossa: GCM found about 6 kg of the drug in a Fiat Uno in the Contorno region and arrested two people
An occurrence of marijuana seized in Ponta Grossa ended with two people arrested on Saturday night (26), in the Contour region. Teams of the Special Operations Group (GOE), of the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM), located approximately 6 kg of the drug inside a black Fiat Uno.
According to the information of the Municipal Civil Guard, the occurrence was recorded around 9 p.m. The teams received information that the vehicle was leaving Carambeí for Ponta Grossa and possibly carrying narcotics.
From the information received, GOE agents have initiated diligence to try to locate the car. The Fiat Uno was already found in the Contour region, in Ponta Grossa, where the approach was performed.
Drug found inside the vehicle
Inside the car were two older people. During the search carried out in the vehicle, the agents found several marijuana tablets.
According to the GCM, the seized material weighed approximately 6 kg.
The occupants of the vehicle were asked about the origin and ownership of the narcotics. According to the report of the occurrence, neither of the two knew to inform the origin of the drug or indicate who would be the owner of the material found.
Suspects were referred to the 13th SDP
Faced with the location of the drug, the two involved received a voice of arrest. The Municipal Civil Guard said they were both informed about their constitutional rights.
The suspects were then sent along with the narcotics seized to the 13th Police Subdivision (13th SDP), in Ponta Grossa.
The case was the responsibility of the police authority for the adoption of the appropriate measures and continuity of the investigation procedures.
The seizure of marijuana in Ponta Grossa occurred after teams previously received information about the vehicle's displacement between Carambeí and Ponta Grossa. The approach took place in the Contorno region, before the car moved to other areas of the city.
Until the time of the information passed on by the Municipal Civil Guard, no details had been disclosed about the possible origin of the drug, the final destination of the narcotic or possible participation of other people in the case.
