Municipal Council resumes 'Câmara nos Bairros' project in Jardim Maracanã
In 2026, the project has already been present in nine neighborhoods, as well as four rural districts of the municipality
The Câmara Municipal de Ponta Grossa (CMPG) project 'Câmara nos Bairros' is back next Sunday (08), starting at 2 pm, at the Haydeê Ferreira de Oliveira School, in the Jardim Maracanã neighborhood. The project returns after the election period, maintaining the initiative to bring the Poder Legislativo closer to the population. The session is open to the public and will feature the Prefeitura Municipal service offering.
Starting in 2025, the project was present in the neighborhoods Santa Maria, Jardim Paraíso, Santa Paula and Parque Nossa Senhora das Graças. In 2026, the project reached the neighborhoods Jardim Carvalho, Núcleo Rio Verde, Contorno, Talleres, Jardim Castanheira, Vila Romana, Vila Borato, Vila Coronel Cláudio and Leila Maria, as well as the rural districts of the municipality, Itaiacoca, Guaragi, Piriquitos and Rova.
CMPG President Julio Kuller (PL) commented on the importance of resuming the project and keeping the Legislative close to the population. "I am very happy to retake the Chamber in the Neighborhoods in this final line of the year. During 2026, we were in several neighborhoods of our city, talking with the population and listening to the demands of each region. In this way, we ensure that the work carried out by Câmara Municipal is more effective, in addition to ensuring popular participation in the development and decision-making in our city. ", emphasizes the councilor.
Public attractions and services
The event will feature the presentation of students from the Haydeê Ferreira de Oliveira School, in addition to the offer of public services from the Municipal Secretariat of Sport, with children's recreation, the Municipal Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply, with the delivery of native tree seedlings and vegetables, in addition to other municipal services.
