Natal Solidário collects sweets and toys for children in Ponta Grossa neighborhoods
Second edition of the event will take place on December 19, at Lagoa Dourada, with participation from residents of Londres and Panamá neighborhoods; organizers ask for donations and early registrations

A community initiative aims to make Christmas for hundreds of children more special in Ponta Grossa. The 2nd Solidarity Christmas is being organized by the Association of Residents of the Golden Lagoon, the Association of Residents of Panama and the Silva family, with the aim of providing an afternoon of fun, sweets and gifts for the children of the Golden Lagoon, London and Panama neighborhoods.
The action is scheduled for December 19, 2026, from 2.30 pm, in the park of the Golden Lagoon, next to the Catholic Church.
According to Dayane Cruziniani, one of those responsible for the initiative, this will be the second edition of the event. Last year, the mobilization was able to gather more than 700 toys, among items purchased by the organizers and donations received from the community.
The program also featured attractions for the children, including renting a cotton candy machine. In addition to the toys, the organizers arranged candy to make the celebration even more special.
Campaign seeks community donations
For this year’s edition, the organization asks for the collaboration of residents and supporters with the donation of candy and used toys in good condition. The proposal is to expand the collection and ensure that more children can participate in the celebration.
