Gender political violence
The director also highlighted the opening of 97 police investigations related to gender political violence, an area in which the PF has acted in a coordinated manner.
“I reaffirm our commitment to democracy, to the electoral process and to the role that the Judicial Police of the Union and the Electoral Judicial Police are fulfilling together with their partners. No one does anything alone,” he said.
Andrei Rodrigues stressed the coordination of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security and the partnership with the Federal Road Police, the Federal Criminal Police and the state police.
Angolan police are also monitoring the Brazilian elections, as part of a cooperation agreement established with the Federal Police.
According to Rodrigues, they came as observers to bring the Brazilian experience to the country and contribute to the improvement of their electoral process.
