Ponta Grossa will have a cold Sunday with no rain forecast

The weather forecast for Ponta Grossa indicates a Sunday (6) with low temperatures and no rainfall. According to Simepar, a cold air mass advances through Paraná and causes temperatures to drop, while areas of instability can still cause isolated rainfall at points of the Campos Gerais.

In Ponta Grossa, the forecast for this Sunday does not indicate rain. The temperature should remain low throughout the day, with a minimum of 8°C and a maximum of only 15°C. The scenario is of more stable weather in the city after the instability recorded during the early hours in different regions of Paraná.

According to information from Simepar, the dawn was marked by the persistence of areas of instability on Paraná. In general, the rains had a weak intensity, but there were occasional situations in the Campos Gerais, North Pioneer, West and Northwest with moderate to strong rainfall and presence of lightning.

Mass of cold air drops temperatures

With the gradual removal of the areas of instability towards the state of São Paulo, a mass of cold air advances through the Paraná. The drop in temperatures is most significant in the southern half of the state, where some cities recorded values below 10 ° C.

In the Central-South Paranaense, the cold was even more intense. In Palmas, in the district of Horizonte, the thermometers reached about 3 ° C in the morning.

At the Campos Gerais, Sunday will also be marked by low temperatures. Despite the possibility of some isolated rainfall in points of the region, the tendency is to reduce the instabilities throughout the day.
