Rain should mark Saturday in Ponta Grossa and region, warns Simepar

The weather forecast for Ponta Grossa points to a Saturday (5) of very instability, with possibility of rain throughout the day and risk of thunderstorms in Campos Gerais. According to Simepar, the presence of a cold front over the ocean and a low-pressure system on the continent keeps instability rates high throughout the Paraná.

According to the meteorological institute, the conditions favor the occurrence of rain strokes in several regions of the state. The scenario is of greater attention for areas of the North of Paraná and also for the Campos Gerais, where there is possibility of storms accompanied by lightning, wind gusts and eventual hailfall.

During the early hours of Saturday, areas of instability gained strength over the Paraná and caused the formation of storms mainly in the West, Center and Campos Gerais regions. Some storm cells presented potential for strong winds and hail.

The weather forecast in Ponta Grossa indicates lower temperatures during the day. According to the data from Simepar, the thermometers should vary between 12°C and 19°C, with the possibility of rain during almost all Saturday.

In addition to Ponta Grossa, other Campos Gerais cities will also have a day marked by instability. In Carambeí, the forecast points to a minimum of 12°C and a maximum of 21°C. In Castro, temperatures should be between 12°C and 18°C.

In Piraí do Sul, residents must face a colder day, with a forecast of minimum of 11°C and maximum of 20°C. In Sengés, the expected variation is between 12°C and 22°C. In Palmeira, the thermometers must be between 12°C and 19°C.

In the region of Irati, the forecast points to a minimum of 11°C and a maximum of 21°C.

Simepar reinforces that the atmospheric environment remains unstable throughout Paraná, mainly due to the combination of the cold ocean front and the low pressure system acting on the continent.

With this, the recommendation is that residents of Ponta Grossa and cities in the region follow the weather updates throughout the day, especially in times of intense rain, lightning occurrences and strong winds.

The weather forecast in Ponta Grossa is expected to continue with favourable rainy conditions on Saturday, marking a day of mild temperatures and an increased presence of cloudiness in Campos Gerais.
