Recicla PG launches end-of-year campaign with goal of 15 tons of recyclables
"Renove suas atitudes" invites the population to take advantage of the traditional end-of-year organization to separate recyclable materials and give them the correct destination. At the end, there will be a draw for a R$ 800.00 voucher among participants

The end of the year is usually the time to open cabinets, organize the garage, review what has been stored over the months and prepare the house for a new cycle. Therefore, Prefeitura Municipal de Ponta Grossa and SO+MA want to turn this habit into a recycling opportunity as well. Through the Recicla PG program, the campaign "End of the Year - Renew your attitudes" is launched, which runs until December 12 with the collective goal of receiving 15 tons of recyclable materials. At the end of the campaign, there will be a draw of a voucher of R $ 800.00 among the eligible participants.
The proposal is simple: before discarding what is no longer useful inside the home, the orientation is to separate what can be recycled and forward these materials to the Recicle PG spaces. Storage boxes, papers, packaging, bottles, cans and other recyclables that often accumulate in cabinets, garages, warehouses and service areas can gain a new destination.
The campaign seeks to connect recycling to this common end-of-year renewal movement. The idea is to transform the moment of organization and detachment into an environmental attitude, stimulating both new deliveries and the recurring participation of those who already use the program.
How to participate
To contribute to the campaign, the participant must separate the recyclable materials, organize them and take them to one of the spaces of the PG Recycling Program. Each delivery made during the period will be counted towards the collective target of 15 tons. Recyclable materials normally accepted by the program will be considered.
In addition to the collective goal, the campaign will have an individual challenge. Participants who accumulate at least 100 kilograms of recyclable materials delivered during the campaign may be eligible for the draw of a voucher of R $ 800.00, provided that they comply with the other rules provided for in the regulation.
To apply, it is also necessary to be registered in the PG Recycle Program, make deliveries within the official campaign period and have the records duly computed in the system. The draw will be held if the program reaches the collective goal of 15 tons during the campaign.
“The campaign aims to show that a simple attitude at home can contribute to a greater collective outcome. We want people to take advantage of that well-known 'end-of-the-year cleaning' to look closely at what's standing still: review cabinets, kitchen, office, garage and everything else, and separate what can be recycled before simply discarding," says Meio Ambiente's municipal secretary, Carla Kritski.
