Arrest warrant in Ponta Grossa leads 32-year-old man to prison during Military Police stop in Boa Vista neighborhood

A man with an arrest warrant was arrested by the Military Police during an approach held early Saturday in the Boa Vista neighborhood in Ponta Grossa. The incident was recorded around 5 am, when a police team was conducting routine patrols in the region.
According to information from the Military Police, the officers boarded a vehicle that left a point known for the narcotics trade. During the action, a personal search was carried out on the driver, but no illicit material was found.
In spite of this, during the consultation with the police systems, the team found that the driver, 32 years old, had an open arrest warrant for the crimes of theft and false identity.
According to the PM, there was a remaining sentence of approximately seven years in prison to be served by the man. Before the confirmation of the court order, he received a voice of arrest and was referred to the responsible authorities.
In addition to complying with the arrest warrant, police also identified irregularities related to the vehicle used by the suspect. The driver did not have a National License (CNH) and the car had outstanding debts.
Due to administrative irregularities, the vehicle was seized and collected in the courtyard. The man remained detained and was referred to the prison system, being at the disposal of the Justice.
