Woman is attacked with bottles and suffers serious injuries in Ponta Grossa

A woman who was assaulted was seriously injured after being attacked by five women early Sunday morning at a facility located on Bonifácio Vilela Avenue, known as Munich Avenue, at Ponta Grossa.

The incident was recorded around 6:40. According to the information available on the care, the victim was hit with bottles during the assault and suffered injuries mainly in the region of the head and one of the arms.

The victim suffered severe cuts.

The blows caused cuts considered deep. One of the wounds to the arm would have reached the tendon region, which made a more detailed medical evaluation necessary.

Given the seriousness of the injuries, two teams of the Mobile Emergency Service (Samu) were mobilized to provide care. A basic support ambulance and an advanced support unit participated in the incident.

After receiving the first care on site, the woman was referred to the Hospital do Coração Bom Jesus, in Ponta Grossa, for hospital care.

To date, no updated information has been released about the clinical picture of the victim.

Municipal Guard was on the spot

Teams of the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) were also triggered and were at the establishment where the assault took place.

The circumstances that would have caused the confusion must still be clarified. Also, until the publication of this article, there was no official confirmation about the arrest or referral of the five women named as participants in the aggression.

The occurrence occurred in one of the regions of greater nocturnal circulation of Ponta Grossa. The Bonifácio Vilela Avenue, popularly called Munich Avenue, concentrates bars, shopping and entertainment venues, especially during the weekends.

The case should be investigated by the competent authorities. New information on the dynamics of the occurrence, possible culprits and the state of health of the victim may be added to the matter if they are officially disclosed.
