ACIPG announces credit of up to R$ 250 thousand for tourism entrepreneurs in Paraná
ACIPG guides tourism entrepreneurs on the Fungetur credit line with annual interest of 5% and financing up to R$ 250 thousand

Entrepreneurs from the tourism industry of Ponta Grossa, Campos Gerais and the entire Paraná have a new opportunity to invest and strengthen their business. The Commercial, Industrial and Business Association of Ponta Grossa (ACIPG) is offering guidance and support for access to a financing line of the General Tourism Fund (Fungetur), made available by Fomento Paraná, with values between R$ 20,000 and R$ 250,000 and interest rate of 5% per year.
The novelty was presented during a live interview in the BNT Portal studios, with the participation of representatives of ACIPG. The initiative seeks to facilitate access to credit for companies directly or indirectly linked to tourism activity, including hotels, restaurants, cafeterias, event organizers and other establishments that meet the requirements of the program.
Line of credit offers interest of 5% per year
ACIPG’s commercial consultant, Jéssica Becker, explained that the Fungetur line was made available by Fomento Paraná last Tuesday (20) and represents an opportunity for entrepreneurs who want to expand their activities or increase working capital.
“On Tuesday, Fomento Paraná has just released the Fungetur line, which is intended exclusively for tourism entrepreneurs who own Cadastur. But for those entrepreneurs who work in the tourist industry, but who do not have Cadastur yet, they can carry out, it is not a problem. We give all this support, this guidance, the step by step of how to perform,” emphasized Jéssica.
According to the consultancy, the reduced rate is one of the main attractions of financing, especially given the credit costs practiced in the market.
The amount released depends on the company’s turnover. According to the information presented by ACIPG, the financing can correspond to up to 25% of the annual turnover, respecting the maximum limit of R$ 250,000.
Who can apply for Fungetur funding?
The program contemplates different economic activities related to tourism. Among the segments mentioned are accommodation establishments, restaurants, cafeterias, bakery companies, events companies and fair organizers.
To apply for funding, it is necessary that the company has a National Register of Economic Activities (CNAE) compatible with tourism, whether it is primary or secondary, in addition to registration in the Cadastur.
ACIPG also offers guidance to entrepreneurs who do not yet have the registration or have doubts about the framework of their activities.
“If the company has doubts: ‘Does mine fit? I work with a certain thing...’, contact us, we will list there, we will check the CNAE, we will make this comparison and, if you relate, we will guide you to do Cadastur and we will be able to follow up on this line”, explained Jéssica.
The consultant also clarified that the service is not restricted to Ponta Grossa. Companies of any municipality in Paraná can seek ACIPG intermediation, provided they have CNPJ registered in the state and meet the requirements.
Can MEIs participate in the funding line?
Despite contemplating different segments of tourism, the line presented by ACIPG is not available to individual microentrepreneurs (MEIs), according to the conditions informed during the interview.
This is because the program requires business billing from R$ 130,000, while the annual limit of MEI billing is R$ 81,000.
Among the other requirements reported are the cadastral regularity, the absence of financial restrictions of the company and those involved in the operation and the presentation of documents that prove the activity and the invoicing.
The process requires documents such as a social contract, proof of invoice, records of the members, proof of address and photographs of the establishment.
According to Jéssica, the processes monitored by ACIPG usually take 15 to 30 days, although the deadline may vary according to the demand and the analysis of Fomento Paraná.
Tourism in the Campos Gerais gains strength with associativism
In addition to the funding opportunity, the interview highlighted the actions developed by ACIPG to strengthen regional tourism.
The Director of Tourism of the Commercial, Industrial and Business Association of Ponta Grossa (ACIPG), Leandro Ribas, who is in his third management at the helm of the area, stressed the importance of associationism and joint action between entrepreneurs to consolidate Ponta Grossa and Campos Gerais as tourist destinations.
“This issue of tourism is no longer a promise in the Campos Gerais. It is already a reality and now we are looking for consolidation, which is a step ahead of that. And for that, this novelty that we are bringing here today is very important,” said Leandro.
According to him, ACIPG has participated in initiatives aimed at the development of tourism, including actions with the Municipal Council of Tourism (COMTUR), support for events and articulations with representatives of the sector.
One of the strategies is the formation of thematic chambers that bring together entrepreneurs of similar activities to develop joint projects. Among the examples is the Thematic Chamber of Rural Tourism, with activities focused especially on the attractions of the Itaiacoca region.
“So today we have, directly related to tourism, the Thematic Chamber of Rural Tourism, which is being very well performed, mainly by some attractions of the Itaiacoca region. Then the companies come together and strengthen that region and the tourism of that region,” he explained.
Cadastur is essential to access opportunities
Another point highlighted during the interview was the importance of Cadastur, the registration system of tourist service providers of the Ministry of Tourism.
The registration allows you to formally identify companies and professionals who work in the tourism activity and may be required to access incentive and financing programs.
Leandro Ribas highlighted that the registry has already played an important role in other policies to support the sector, such as the Emergency Program for the Recovery of the Event Sector (Perse), created after the impacts of the pandemic.
The ACIPG guidance is for interested entrepreneurs to seek information on the framework of their activities and, where applicable, to regularize the Cadastur before requesting funding.
ACIPG warns of high demand for resources
Consultant Jessica Becker also recommended that interested entrepreneurs seek information as soon as possible, since the availability of resources depends on the offer of Fomento Paraná.
“Entrepreneurs of the tourism sector of the entire Paraná state: whoever has an interest, we are making this line of Fungetur available with an interest rate of 5% per year. For you who want to invest, for you who want to expand, for you who only want to increase working capital, look for us,” he said.
She added that, due to the conditions offered, the resources usually register great demand, and there may be suspension of new hires when the financial availability is exhausted.
For Leandro Ribas, access to financing can contribute to expand the structure of the enterprises, strengthen the attractions and encourage the permanence of visitors in the region.
“We are thankful for the natural beauties we have here, for the proximity to a capital, an international airport that has in Curitiba, for being a highway junction, so opportunities for various sectors of tourism we have,” he said.
How to apply for ACIPG funding?
Businesses interested in the Fungetur credit line can seek the Commercial, Industrial and Business Association of Ponta Grossa and request assistance with the commercial consultant Jéssica Becker.
The entity offers guidance on the framework of economic activity, the requirements of the Cadastur, the necessary documentation and the forwarding of the financing proposal.
The hiring is subject to credit analysis, compliance with the requirements and availability of the resources of Fomento Paraná.
The initiative reinforces ACIPG’s role in supporting entrepreneurship and economic development of Ponta Grossa and Campos Gerais, especially at a time of widening opportunities related to regional tourism.
