Green Market in Ponta Grossa passes through 19 points this Saturday (11). Check neighborhoods, locations and service times of the three teams.

The Feira Verde Ponta Grossa will have a new round of services on Friday (11), with 19 points between neighborhoods, nuclei and communities of the municipality. Three teams will be on the streets throughout the day, with the first calls scheduled for 8:30 a.m.
The program allows residents to exchange recyclable materials for food. For every 4 kilos of recyclable materials, the participant receives 1 kilo of food, respecting the limit of 15 kilos per family.
Materials that can be delivered include paper, plastic, glass and metal. In addition to stimulating the proper separation and disposal of waste, the initiative contributes to the access of the population to fresh food and strengthens producers linked to family farming.
This Friday, the itinerary includes from urban regions, such as Cristo Rei, Planalto and Santa Edwiges, to localities such as Guaragi, Colônia Sutil, Uvaia and Bocaina.

Recycling and food
The Feira Verde seeks to encourage the population to separate recyclable materials indoors, avoiding irregular disposal and increasing waste reuse. In contrast, participants receive fruit and vegetable products, bringing fresh food closer to the communities served.
The program is held in different regions of Ponta Grossa throughout the week, allowing the program to reach both neighborhoods of the urban area and communities further away from the municipality.
