Motocyclist Injured After Collision With Car At Intersection In Ponta Grossa

A car-motorcycle accident injured a motorcyclist on Wednesday afternoon after a collision occurred at the intersection of Campo Largo and Florestopolis streets in the Ponta Grossa workshop area. The incident was attended by teams of the Superintendence of Traffic and Road Safety and was supported by the Mobile Emergency Service (SAMU).

According to the information passed on by the traffic officers, the call was registered at around 17:44 to attend to a crash involving a car and a motorcycle.

In the place, the team found that the SAMU was already performing the care of those involved. According to the reports collected during the incident, the vehicle was transiting through Campo Largo Street when it became involved in the collision with the motorcycle that followed Florestópolis Street.

The motorcyclist received the first visits from the Bravo 04 team of the SAMU and, subsequently, was referred to the Unit of Pronto Atendimento (UPA) Santana, in Ponta Grossa, for medical evaluation.

According to the Superintendence of Traffic and Road Safety, both the driver of the car and the motorcyclist were duly qualified, and the vehicles were in a regular situation.

The team responsible for the service also reported that the vertical and horizontal signaling of the roads was in good condition at the time of the occurrence.

The traffic remained accompanied by the agents until the completion of the care for the victims and the preparation of the report of occurrence. The military police were also present at the scene to support the proceedings.

To date, no updated information has been released about the health status of the motorcyclist referred for medical care.
