'O Cubo Mágico' brings musical theater to 12 schools and CMEIs in Ponta Grossa
Third edition of the LevAR-TE company's project started this week and runs until November 9, with performances aimed at hundreds of children in the municipal education network
Cia LevAR-TE started this week the circulation of the third edition of the musical theater show “The Magic Cube”, in Ponta Grossa. Between 19 October and 9 November, the project makes 12 presentations in municipal schools and Municipal Centers of Educação Infantil (CMEIs), providing hundreds of children with contact with art, music and theater in the school environment.
With original songs by Leandro Wenglarek, the show presents characters inspired by musical elements and addresses, in a playful and interactive way, themes such as friendship, respect for differences and social inclusion. The proposal is to stimulate imagination and reflection on fundamental values for coexistence, using artistic language as an instrument of learning and transformation.
In this third edition, the montage also presents an update in its visuality, with renewed elements to expand the connection of the characters and the narrative with the children's audience. The initiative continues the work carried out in previous editions, which took the show to different educational and social care institutions of Ponta Grossa, reinforcing the commitment to the democratization of access to culture.
The program includes six municipal schools and six CMEIs from different regions of the city. Among the participating units are the municipal schools Prof. Theodoro Batista Rosas, Prof. Osni Vilaca Mongruel, Ruth Holzmann Ribas, Maria Eulina Santos Scheena, Father José Bugatti and Prof. Lucia Pacher.
The CMEIs Prof. Cleris Roseana Ribas Joslin, Prof. Henrique Ribeiro de Lima, Prof. Fabiane Hernandez, Prof. Gisele Maria Zander, Prof. Itamara Aparecida Alves de Almeida and Vivaldo Sassi also receive the show.
By bringing the presentations directly to the educational institutions, the project seeks to bring children closer to the performing arts and expand opportunities for access to cultural experiences, valuing the theater as a tool for training, expression and inclusion.
The cast is made up of Leandro Wenglarek, Kevin Braga, Brenda Samara and Cauynê Vieira. The direction, the set design and the costumes are signed by Kevin Braga, while Leandro Wenglarek is responsible for the music of the show. The team also counts on Vicco Dallenere in the sound operation and Paula Dabul as interpreter of Libras, contributing to the accessibility of the production.
The executive production is by Valterlice Aparecida Wenglarek, who is responsible for proposing the project. Founded in 2019, Cia LevAR-TE develops works aimed at enhancing the arts and expanding access to culture, especially among children and young people.
The circulation of “The Magic Cube” is a project approved in the seventh edition of the Municipal Program of Incentive to Culture (Promific), of the Municipal Secretariat of Culture of Ponta Grossa, with sponsorship of Belgotex.
