Old Man Arrested Suspected of Rubbing Private Parts in Front of 12-Year-Old Girl in PG
Investigated man, 69 years old, is the victim's neighbor and allegedly sent sexual messages; seized cell phone will be examined
A 69-year-old man was arrested in the late afternoon of Wednesday (14), in Ponta Grossa, during an operation of the Civil Police of Paraná (PCPR), through the Child and Adolescent Victims of Crime Protection Center (Nucria). He is investigated for the crimes of lascivious satisfaction and sexual enticement of a 12-year-old girl.
In addition to pre-trial detention, the police officers complied with search warrants and personal and home apprehension. A cellular device has been seized and will be submitted to forensics to assist in clarifying the facts.
The investigation began after the mother’s complaint.
According to Deputy Renata Batista, the investigation began after the teenager's mother sought the police to report the case. According to PCPR, the investigator took advantage of the victim’s neighboring status to carry out the acts investigated. The first reported episode occurred on August 12, 2026, at his residence.
According to the information of the investigation, at that time, the man allegedly touched and rubbed his own genital region over his clothes in front of the teenager.
Four days later, on August 16, the suspect reportedly harassed the girl again, this time through sexual text messages. In the conversations, according to police, he asked if the teenager had never noticed when he touched his own private parts, referring to the behavior previously reported.
Justice Authorizes Prison and Access to Data
Before the elements gathered, the Civil Police requested the Justice the preventive arrest of the investigated, the fulfillment of searches and the breach of confidentiality of telephone, telematic and computer data.
The measures were authorized by the 2nd Court of Domestic and Family Violence against Women and the Court of Crimes against Children and Adolescents and the Elderly of Ponta Grossa, after the Public Prosecutor’s opinion.

During the execution of the court orders, the agents seized the cell phone that will undergo expert analysis. The investigator was referred to the prison system, where he remains at the disposal of the justice system.
