RodoFut7 beats DotCon in shoot-outs and advances to another final in the season

RodoFut7 is in another final this season. The Ponta Grossa team secured the qualification on Saturday (7), beating the DotCon, from Cascavel, in the semifinal of the PR CUP de futebol 7. After the 2-2 draw in normal time, the team won the shoot-outs 2-1 at Arena Buenão, in Cascavel.

Classification came again in the shoot-outs

The confrontation was balanced and ended in a 2-2 tie in regulatory time. Martins and Serginho scored the goals of RodoFut7, who had to decide the spot in the final in the collections of shoot-outs.

In the dispute, Bessa and Eskerda converted the collections for the top-grossense team, which won 2 to 1. The goalkeeper Cassio had a decisive participation and helped to guarantee the classification.

It is the second consecutive phase of the PR CUP in which RodoFut7 confirms its spot after a shoot-out dispute. In the previous standings, the team had drawn 2–2 and won 2–0 in the collections, with goals from Bessa and Eskerda.

RodoFut7 reaches another decision this year

The ranking broadens the team’s string of expressive results in the season. Before the semi-final of the PR CUP, RodoFut7 had already won the vice-championship of the Copa Libertadores Del Rey and the Super Cup Paraná, in addition to the third place in the Cup Paraná.

Now, the Ponta Grossa team is preparing to play another final and seek another title in the season. The opponent, the date and time of the decision have not yet been informed.

Adversary will still be defined

The second semifinal will be next Saturday (14), between Fanny 24h and Trade F7, in Curitiba. The big decision will also be in the capital of Paraná.
