Document reveals details of the expansion plan for Operário stadium
Term published in Ponta Grossa Official Gazette details five phases of modernization of Germano Krüger and establishes measures related to traffic and surrounding roads
The Operário Ferroviário stadium expansion project plans to gradually increase the capacity of the German Krüger to approximately 20,000 spectators. The steps are described in a commitment signed by the club with the Institute of Research and Urban Planning of Ponta Grossa (Iplan), published in the Official Journal of the Municipality on Monday (28).
According to the document, the modernization was planned in five successive phases, in order to allow the gradual execution of the complex. The first provides for new stands and a total capacity of approximately 12,500 spectators. This stage includes about 2,000 chairs, cabins, panoramic restaurant, bars, sanitary facilities, support areas for fans and commercial spaces with access facing the street.
In the second phase, the projected capacity rises to approximately 15,000 people. The third one includes about 17,000 spectators and new support and trade spaces. The completion of the extension of the stands is scheduled for the fourth phase, when the stadium would reach the final projected capacity of approximately 20,000 fans.

The fifth phase is intended for a building for the administrative activities of the club, as well as spaces for concentration and support to professional and base teams. The project also provides coverage in the areas intended for the public and readjustment of the accesses to the stadium.
Works in the surroundings and traffic on game days
The term establishes measures that the Worker must comply with during the implementation process. Among them are the presentation of a mobility plan and the operation of traffic on days of events and the elaboration of an executive project to pave a stretch of Rua Seis, between Dr. Luiz Conrado Mansani and M. E.C. Alberto Scarpin. The road design should include paving, sidewalks, drainage, public lighting and signage.
According to the document, the executive paving project should be presented within 120 days after the issuance of the building permit. For the mobility plan, the expected period is up to 180 days after the issuance of the permit. The execution of the paving of Rua Seis appears among the conditions for the issuance of the inhabited.
The term also deals with road signage during construction, control of dust and noise, disposal of construction waste and repair of any damage caused by heavy vehicle traffic. The publication details the project and the obligations assumed by the club, but does not inform a schedule of completion of the five phases.
