Worker's Agency in PG will have job fair exclusively for people with disabilities

The Ponta Grossa Workers Agency holds, on September 30, a job fair aimed at the inclusion of people with disabilities (PcD) and rehabilitated from the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) in the labor market. The event will be attended by 20 companies and will be held from 8 am to 12 pm, at the headquarters of the Worker's Agency, located at Rua Benjamin Constant, no 405, in the Center. Participation is free.
The initiative, called Dia D – Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities and Rehabilitated in the Labour Market, is promoted by Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa, through the Municipal Secretariat of Industry, Trade and Professional Qualification and the Workers Agency.
The action integrates a national mobilization of the National Employment System (Sine) and seeks to expand the hiring opportunities, bringing workers and companies that offer vacancies for different functions and levels of qualification.

During the Dia D, participants will have access to employment opportunities offered by the 20 companies confirmed for the event. The proposal is to bring together, in a single space, employers and candidates, facilitating direct contact and referrals to the available positions.
In addition to hiring opportunities, workers can receive guidance for drafting resumes, professional information and clarifications related to INSS.
The program will also include the participation of the Professional Qualifications sector, which will present free courses aimed at those who want to expand their knowledge and improve preparation for the labor market.
The City Council highlights the importance of inclusion in the labour market
For the municipal secretary of Industry, Commerce and Professional Qualification, Tônia Mansani, the event represents an opportunity to bring workers closer to the companies that are hiring and expand access to professional qualifications.
"The Dia D is an opportunity to bring those who are looking for an opportunity closer to the companies they are hiring. We want people with disabilities and rehabilitated people to find here not only job openings, but also guidance and pathways to their professional qualifications. It is a morning prepared to facilitate this meeting and expand the opportunities for inclusion in the labor market," she said.
The initiative seeks to facilitate access to formal employment and contribute to the inclusion of people with disabilities and rehabilitated workers, offering opportunities for insertion or return to the labor market.
