APC and ACIPG strengthen partnership in support of the Feminine Network Against Cancer in Ponta Grossa
Partnership between APC and ACIPG enables renovation of the space of the Feminine Network Against Cancer and expands comfort and safety in Ponta Grossa

The Paranaense Construction Association (APC) and the Ponta Grossa Commercial, Industrial and Business Association (ACIPG) have strengthened a partnership in support of the Ponta Grossa Women’s Cancer Network. The initiative resulted in the reform of the roof of the front area of the institution.
The action was attended by APC, represented by President Elton Petrochinski, and ACIPG, through the Director of Urbanism, Fabiano Carlim. The improvement provides more protection against climatic conditions, thermal comfort and safety for the activities developed by the Women’s Network.
The benefited space is also used during the traditional bazaars promoted by the entity, which help to strengthen the actions developed in attendance to people facing cancer.
Partnership goes beyond structural improvement
In addition to physical intervention, the initiative reinforces the union between civil society entities and the productive sector around social impact projects.
According to APC President Elton Petrochinski, actions like this demonstrate how construction can contribute directly to initiatives that benefit the community.
“When entities unite, the result exceeds the work done. We are helping to create better conditions for the Women’s Network to continue fulfilling its important mission together with society,” she emphasizes.
The reform provides better conditions for volunteers and professionals of the Women’s Network to continue carrying out activities of care, reception and support to people who undergo cancer treatment.
Women's Network work wins recognition
After closely monitoring the work carried out by the institution, Elton Petrochinski stressed that the contribution made by the entities is small given the importance of the activities carried out by the Women's Network in Ponta Grossa.
“I see that our contribution was a very small act compared to what the Women’s Network does for the community. "Those people with whom I had the opportunity to spend a small part of the afternoon today, they do deserve our recognition and our total admiration," he said.
For APC, the approach also represents an opportunity to show that the construction sector can contribute not only to urban development, but also to social projects that generate direct benefits for the population.
ACIPG brings together the productive sector and the community
The participation of ACIPG reinforces the role of the entity in the articulation between companies, organizations and civil society. The proposal is to bring the productive sector closer to initiatives that can generate positive impacts for Ponta Grossa.
The partnership with the Women’s Network of Fighting Cancer is an example of this articulation, bringing together different entities around an action that improves the structure used by those who provide care and welcome to the community.
The initiative reinforces the idea that joint actions can transform structural improvements into benefits that reach the entire society.
