Car crashes into motorcycle, leaving rider injured in accident on Contorno in Ponta Grossa

A traffic accident in Ponta Grossa left a motorcyclist injured in the afternoon of Wednesday, after a collision involving a car and a motorcycle at the intersection of Jabuticabeira and Attilio Tararan streets in the Contour region. The incident was recorded at around 17:45 and mobilized a traffic patrol team after the operation of the Traffic Operations Center (Cotran).

According to the incident report, the collision involved a dark-colored Volkswagen Gol Trend and a Yamaha FZ25 Fazer motorcycle. According to the information passed on by the team responsible for the service, the car was traveling along Jabuticabeira Street when, when it reached the intersection with Attilio Tararan Street, it laterally hit the motorcycle.

With the impact of the crash, the motorbike driver suffered injuries, including an injury to his left foot. The victim received pre-hospital care still on site and was subsequently referred to the Pronto Atendimento Unit (UPA) Santa Paula, in Ponta Grossa, for evaluation and medical care.

The transit team carried out the necessary procedures on site and recorded the occurrence. The circumstances that led to the collision will be determined according to the records made during the care.
