35th UEPG Communication Week brings different perspectives on journalism
The 35th UEPG Communication Week takes place from September 21 to 26 in Ponta Grossa, featuring lectures, workshops and discussions on journalism. Check the schedule!

Between 21 and 26 September, the Journalism course of the State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG) holds the 35th Communication Week, with the theme "Journalism, diverse worlds". The opening will be marked by the lecture "Journalism in a decolonial perspective" with Prof. Dr. Erick Torrico Villanueva, from the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés, Bolivia. Throughout the week, professionals and students gather to discuss topics such as culture, memory, meio ambiente, science and regionalities.
In addition to lectures and panels, the program offers practical workshops that explore photography, audiovisual production, telejournalism, creative writing, animation and the use of artificial intelligence for research and reporting. The event will also have editorial releases and will close on Saturday (26), with the Feira Cultura Plural, held at Sesc Estação Saudade.
